Kiiski and Caamos decided to make their very own surprise litter of three lovely boys, as we really didn´t plan the mating we had to dna test the puppies and so found out the father was Caamos. Even if they were not planned we are proud to present Aslak, Aarni and Albmi. Villi and Tjotjo have been eyetested clear. Lapinlumon Pakkasherra and Lapinlumon Lapinloru are new Swedish champions and Lapinloru is a new Nordic champion as well! The puppy page has been updated with the new litters born.

Today was the sad and heavy day where we had to say goodbye to Uuriel. Almost 14 years did we get together and he will be so dearly missed. Uuriel was my first own lapinkoira, I worked to save money for him almost one year before I had enough to buy my very own dog 14 years old. My mum travelled with me to Finland and we came home with my star. Uuriel was a special dog. Strong, brave and stuborn but also loving, loyal and very special. He fastly showed his beautiful looks and in his career he was the first international champion in Denmark. He is also the first and so far only lapinkoira who won BIS at an all breed show. Numerous titles he won as it is seen from his own page and during the years he won 26 BOBs, 6 BOSs and 43 BOB seniors or veterans where he was often placed in the BIS competitions as well. It it worth to mention that for several years seniors and veterans could not compete for the real BOB in Denmark, many times the judges told me Uuriel would have been the winner if they had been allowed to chose him. He was always fun to show, but most important to me was the fact that he was my best friend throught my upbringing. I grew up with him. If it was not for him I am not sure I would be in the dog world today. He was a fantastic dog to start with and the reason I wanted to go on.Thankyou Eeva that you entrusted this special dog with me when I was so very young. Through all his life he was never sick one day. The summer of 2007 he was diagnosed with a cancer in his nose and the vet gave him a few more months to live. With Uuriels strong will he lived 8 good months more. But I knew when the end had come, I could see it in his eyes and I could feel him getting poor. It was hard, very hard, to make the decission, but it was the right to do. Our vet came to our house to put him to sleep so that he could fall asleep peacefully in my arms in hos own surroundings. I am grateful for that. It is empty without him and it will always be, but I am so very grateful for the fantastic years and experiences and all the love I received from Uuriel. I just pray he felt that he got the same back. I am proud to have been owned by a dog like him.

26.11.2006 This update will be pure brag. Our Mimmi went to Finland one month ago to spend some time with my good friend Petra. Yesterday she attended her first show in Finland and in competition with 22 other bitches she won the CAC which makes her a NEW FINNISH CHAMPION! Way to go Mimmi and Petra we are so proud with this result in the country of origin of the breed. And this is not the only good news. The Danish kennel club believed Mimmi had D hips. The vet who x rayed her and I myself didn´t agree however. And neither did the Finnish kennel club! Mimmi has now C and is perfectly fine for breeding. THANKYOU Petra we can not wait to get our little star back home once she has hopefully given Petra a nice litter of puppies.

Lapinlumon Karhunpoika and
Lapinlumon Juhani who is unfortunately completely out of coat
in the photos. We enjoyed the Christmas with a lot of snow and made some photos
of our dogs enjoying even more than us. So there are new photos in

pages as well as in the our dogs section of the
gallery.
Several of our bitches started their season so we
will update the puppy pages as soon as we see how it goes with the matings.

17.12.2005 New photos added of Lapinlumon Lapinlumi, Lapinlumon Quurankukka, Lapinlumon Quunvalo and Lapinlumon Miamaia who was enjoying the snow together with little Kukka. From Henriette we received some photos of our breeders class at the Christmas show so they have been added to the showpage. Thanks Henriette!

A lot of new updates have been made here and there and more are comming. We have a lot of photos we need to scan and add to the galleries and the dog´s pages. So visit us soon again!
