 Uuriel er min første egen hund og grunden til, at jeg idag er i hundeverdenen. En hund med en stor personlighed, som har ført mig langt omkring. På udstillinger i Danmark og hele Europa, til lydighedstræning og til lydighedsprøver og ikke mindst på utallige ture i skov og ved strand, på cykel og på gåben. Han har været med mig fra starten og vil altid for mig være grundstenen i det hele, vi voksede sammen side om side i denne hundeverden. Han var en pionær i racen, da han blev den første dansk ejede lapphund, der blev International champion og senere blev han ligeledes den første danske lapphund, der vandt Best in show på en international udstilling. Han har altid haft en stor vilje, måske lidt for stor, og ville gå sine egne veje, men på trods af det og måske netop derfor vil han altid eje den største plads i mit hjerte blandt alle hundene.

Uuriel is my first own dog and he is the reason I am in the dogworld today. A dog with a great personality who has taken me to many places; to shows all around Denmark and Europe, to obedience training and obedience competitions and most of all on numerous trips to the forrest and the beach. He has been with me from the beginning and will for me always be the foundation in it all, we grew side by side in this dogworld. He was a pioneer in the breed as he was the first Danish lapinkoira  ever to become International champion and later he was also the first Danish lapinkoira who won Best in show at an international all breed show. He always had a big will, maybe sometimes too big as he wanted to go his own ways, but in spite of that and maybe even for that reason he will always own the biggest place in my heart among all the dogs.
